At The Fogbell Press, we believe that good printing need not come at the expense of the natural world. Wherever practical, we strive to reduce waste, select environmentally responsible materials, and make thoughtful use of the resources entrusted to us.

Many of our printed materials, including our Miscellany paper and correspondence cards, are produced on Speckletone papers made from 100% recycled fibre and manufactured to be acid and lignin free for long-term preservation. Additional packaging materials are selected with similar care, including recyclable mailers made from recycled content, acid-free glassine sleeves for the protection of art prints, and archival-quality papers intended to ensure that printed works may be enjoyed for years to come.

As a small independent press, we recognize that no printing process is entirely without environmental impact. For this reason, we aim to purchase only what is needed, avoid unnecessary packaging whenever possible, and continually seek better alternatives as they become available.

Environmental stewardship is not a finished task, but an ongoing responsibility. We remain committed to making thoughtful choices that balance craftsmanship, durability, and care for the places that inspire our work.
